1. On the back of your key fob, you’ll see a button. Press it to remove the metal auxiliary key.
2. Look for a slot on either side of the key fob case. 
3. Use your tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob case, first on one side, and then the other. 
4. Once the case is open, place it in a memorable spot where you won’t lose it.

1. Remove the new battery from its packaging and set it next to the key fob case.
2. Take out your old battery, being careful not to damage the casing around it or the part that it sits on. If you scratched or damage the rubber ring, you’ll need to replace this part before proceeding.
3. Place your new battery where the old one was in the key fob. Ensure that the positive (+) side is facing up.
4. Return the key fob battery cover to its proper place and position. Then, gently press until you hear the pieces click into place.
