Although it is expected to hit MAZDA dealerships in 2019, you can get all the details about the new MAZDA3 here.
Two Designs
The new 2019 MAZDA3 will be available in two different styles giving off two different characters. The hatchback offers a free spirited design with sleek design and smooth curves. This 5-door MAZDA3 will be for the minimalist.
The second design is the sedan and it is made for the individual that is strong and enjoyed a more shaped design. These designs will be able to give the customers everything they need to satisfied with their car.
The New Engine
MAZDA has added a new engine to the model. It is called the SkyActiv-X and this engine is supposed to be saving up to 20 percent on fuel economy. Although MAZDA did not release the fuel economy for the MAZDA3 yet, it is expected to have a city/highway mpg of 31 to 37. With these numbers the longer trips you you take the less stops you’ll make. Which saves time, energy and the best of all, money.
Other Key Features
The new MAZDA3 has the option of being in all-wheel drive depending on the drivers preference. They have redesigned the infotainment screen with simpler controls displayed by the driver’s seat. It will also come with an infrared camera and infrared LED to track the drivers facial features. Tracking the drivers facial features will warn the car if a driver is dozing off. The car will send out audio alerts to trigger the driver awake. There is tons of safety features that are being put to great use for the MAZDA3 that will most likely become a common thing throughout the next models.
One of the best safety features that will be beneficial for pedestrians in case of a collision. There will be an impact-absorbing hood to soften any pedestrian collisions. This is what safety advocates have been asking for a long time. MAZDA has done it and this safety technology will only get better.
